I have worked on the development and implementation of social impact strategies alongside selected films, building relationships and partnerships with interested groups and organisations to maximise reach and impact. With Casablanca Calling we have developed partnerships with Girls Not Brides, Muslims for Progressive Values, Search for Common Ground, FATE (Families against Extremism and Terrorism), Education for All, plus many more organizations across Morocco to deliver screenings and discussions around the film in a wide range of contexts: from a UN event about female Muslim leadership to village screenings in the Atlas mountains; from international embassy film screenings to an audience of girls' rights activists from all over the world.
Pirates of Salé was part of a touring cinema project to schools across the Czech Republic and a similar schools programme is currently being developed in Portugal. It is currently being adapted for the stage by the National Theatre, London UK.
Up to date information about both social impact campaigns can be found on the films' Facebook pages.
